Safety Cover Replacement
-Two Types-

Rectangular Covers
Step 1: Hand measurement
We measure the length and width of the cover for precision. We consider the space for coping stone and anchor placement.

Step 2: Production
The dimensions are sent to your chosen cover company and created to spec. Once the cover is built, it is shipped to us for installation.

Freeform Covers
Step 1: Drone measurement
We measure the length and width of the cover for precision. We consider the space for coping stone and anchor placement.

OR
Step 1: Send cover out
The alternative is to send the cover out for remake. This does have its risks, and covers have been lost in translation before. This method is free and also saves the cost of drone spec development. It would be best to send the cover in during the spring if choosing to go this route. Sending the cover out too late in the season can lead to leaves upon leaves!

Step 2: Production
The drone dimensions are reviewed or the old cover is analyzed. The new cover is made to the same shape of the new cover

Installation Considerations

Exact anchor placement
Merlin and LOOP LOC may release the datasheet on your cover if it doesn't exceed 10 years of age. They are the only cover distributors that will do this. In this case remake is exact and install will be free.

Suspended cover anchors
Some clients have beautiful structures around their pool like spa spill overs, extensions of tiled wall, stone walls, hardscape perimeter stones, etc. These structure require the anchors be drilled carefully for wire anchors.

Paver or concrete drilling
When anchors go into pool patio, they need to be drilled. If you have a concrete base, the drilling is straight forward. If you have a paver base, we will need to install paver tubes for the anchors to keep them from pulling the stones out with cover tension in the winter.

Porcelain tile drilling
Drilling into a porcelain deck takes TIME and requires extreme care not to crack the tiles. A diamond bit is used to remove the tile first. These installations are more expensive to balance the cost of bits. a single cover could require up to 20 bits! collars are used to hide the gap.
